DC75 seal/gasket replacement

DC75 Cyclone Assembly

Hello all, I have a very good DC75 that I did a deep clean on and all went well until I was reassembling the cyclone and one of the seals/gaskets had perished. It’s the one that goes into the groove on the apparatus on the right so it makes a good seal with the main assembly on the left. I can’t find a technical drawing and Dyson’s lack of photos on the parts list is incredibly frustrating. Does anyone know if or where I can get a replacement seal from please?

Hi Aastha, that seems excessively wasteful, the cyclone is 100% working bar a deteriorated seal. The unit is really well engineered and all I need to do is replace this one seal so buying the whole unit is not economically viable. Will contact support as you advised though, thanks.

Hi @rick_x,

Thanks for your feedback on this!

The Cyclone pack is supplied to us as a complete assembly. Dismantling it can compromise the air-tight design, and we wouldn't normally ask owners to replace individual internal seals.

We’ll be happy to pass your comments along to the right people for you.

Just to reassure you, Dyson components are made of high-grade, recyclable materials. Your old Cyclone pack can be responsibly disposed of at any household recycling centre.
