Different connectors on body - and what attaches. | Dyson Community

I’ve been struggling with understanding which Dyson cordless vacuums heads use which connector. The picture show a UK SV14 (top) and and EU SV23 (bottom). The UK tools I have have a plastic tab between the two electrical pins on any wand so only fit the SV14. I purchased what I believe to be a UK gen5detect wand/crevice tool but that also has the tab between the two pins so I cannot connect it to the SV23 I have. Can anyone enlighten me on which vacuums use which connector? Thanks in advance.

Not sure why this has been marked solved and answered when I haven’t received any information. I’ll try asking a different way.

Thank you, the question was not about the battery charger but about the connection of the wand attachments. These have two pins to power the head which go in to the black connectors shown above on the front of the machine. There is a plastic tab between the two pins on the gen5detect wand which means I cannot connect it to the head. The older units (SV14 - top in the picture) have a gap between the two black sockets to allow the plastic tab in.
