how to replace dyson smallball animal DC50 power cord

Hello,

Can some please explain how to replace dyson smallball animal DC50 power cord?

the cord is tangled and worn out. I can buy the power cord from dyson but no idea how to replace

will i need to fit the wires into the machine or an electrician.

please explain!
