This sounds very unusual and not what we’d expect from a machine in normal use. There should be no reason for holes forming in the post filter.
As mentioned, if you haven’t already done so, please reach out to your regional Dyson Customer Care team to discuss troubleshooting and repair options by visiting Dyson.com and clicking Support. Our engineers can help inspect the complete machine to ensure there are no other underlying issues contributing to excessive loading of the post filter.
