Lifting the Purifier

Should I use the loop amplifier, the base, or something else to lift the Dyson Purifier Hot + Cool Gen 1 off the ground?

Best answer by Morcman

You should use the base to lift the purifier as stated in the manual. Please never lift it by its loop, this could damage the unit.

I read the manual before posting the question, and this information was not included. Thank you for the answer.

I just had a look at the manual and it is written on page 2 Assembling your machine: “Use both hands to lift your machine out of the box, by its base. Do not lift out by the loop amplifier.”

The assembly process, also known as unboxing, is done with the machine lying down, while general usage occurs in an upright position. Your quote, which I recall from the last time I read the manual, specifically refers to the assembly process.

Hi @bontox,

Welcome to the Dyson Community, and thanks for checking in on this!

When moving your Dyson purifier around your home - as with the assembly/unboxing process - please carry your machine by the base, and not by the loop amplifier.

Hope this clarifies things!
