Please do not wash or submerge your Dyson Pneumatic Musclehead floor tool. This could cause damage to the floor tool and the machine itself, which wouldn’t be covered under your Dyson guarantee.

If you feel the floor tool could use a clean, please give it a thorough wipe over with a soft damp cloth. Always ensure all parts are completely dry before reattaching it and using your machine.

It's just that there was a really heavy build up of crusted on dirt that was stopping the parts moving freely.

I have scraped off what I can reach and it is now moving, but it is probably still crusted inside.
