I have a Cyclone V10 Animal vacuum cleaner. The main brush no longer rotates and doesn’t pick up anything. I tried the small brush and it also doesn’t rotate. I spoke to Customer Services who said I should buy a new motor (£105) I did and having fitted that it still doesn’t solve the problem. I have tried to speak to Customer Services on several occasions - each time I call they say the line is breaking up. I am SO frustrated…..
It’s a shame that Dyson only offer a 2-year cover on their sick range. Anything outside of this is at cost. Although I've never seen the head for £105! If I were you, I’d consider buying parts from one of their retailers, these are generally a little cheaper: How to: Order spare parts and accessories | Dyson Community.
If the new head didn’t solve the problem, I’d consider visiting their online help site: Support (dyson.co.uk). I suspect the issue is with the cleaner bin, or one of the other power connectors. It sound similar to this post -
