I love my Dyson equipment (2 vaccume cleanser, 1 Supersonic, 1 Airwrap), but currently I’m really frustrated about the availability of additional attachments for the Airwrap. I waited nearly ¾ year for the huge round brush attachment and the attachment 971890 - 20mm/0.8 inch barrel, color doesn’t matter to me, is still not available in my country (Austtria/Europe) and obviously nearly worldwide as my research on the Dyson-Website showed.
I could only find it in Ireland and France, but they do not ship to Austria. Obviously there is no international European distrubution center, only local delivery, which seams to be a joke in times of international global business.
I really don’t get, why an innovative luxury brand, as Dyson is, is not able to fix the production and distribution of their products/spares/additional attachments for years? Even the Austria Website is not working correctly because it’s not possible to set a “keep me posted” message, because there comes no verification email to confirm. The Costumer Service didn’t take care of that after information either… problem is still not fixed since months.
I wanted the attachment 971890 - 20mm/0.8 inch barrel really badly for a really long time, waiting patiently but meanwhile I guess next time I will buy my products from a different cheaper brand, because of all the troubles I expected after my purchase for a lot of money spent.
