Does anyone else have the same problem, hairdryer cuts out every time I use it , brilliant when it works but mega annoying being told to just clean it with toothbrush, it’s not even a year old and having to do it daily, anyone any advice ?

I’ve not, no. I do use a generous amount of hairspray every time. Because I read this can play havoc with the filter, I wash it after every use.
Maybe just try giving it a thorough clean down. I see the professional do this slightly different from us regular folk. Professional Cleaning. They clean the filter and soak it every day just like little old me!

My daughter and I share an Airwrap. With the amount of hairspray and product she users, we’re cleaning the filter weekly just to stay on top of it!
