To charge your machine, simply place it on the dock ensuring the charging strips are lined up.

The blue LED light on the back of the dock will turn off, indicating that it has made contact and is charging. Your robot will initialise, and the onboard display will light up.

Should my machine be fully charged before I start a clean?

You don't have to wait for your robot to be fully charged before starting a clean. If your robot doesn't have enough charge to start a clean, it will highlight this on the display screen and via the Dyson App.

If you start a clean using the ‘Play button/LCD screen’, the display screen will indicate if there isn't enough charge.

If you start a clean from the Dyson App and there isn't enough charge, your robot will charge until the battery level is sufficient to automatically start a clean.

Your robot will automatically return to charge if a clean was started from the dock. During a clean, your robot will only charge enough to finish the clean.
