I received my Airstrait as a gift about 5 weeks ago and was initially so excited. I have very thick hair and find that this product does NOT help shorten my time of doing my hair—in fact it increases it since I have to keep going over my hair over and over again AND I am having to dry my hair almost fully with my Dyson hair dryer prior to starting to use this. I also find that it increases the frizz in my hair and is extremely heavy to use. I am disappointed that my husband spent so much money on this product—I wish I suggested the regular hair straightener over this.

We’re surprised to hear you’re not getting along with your Dyson Airstrait™ straightener, as we’ve received very positive and enthusiastic reviews from other owners of this machine.
A lot of development work went into incorporating some essential electronic components within the plug, to reduce the size and weight of the machine itself.
To simultaneously dry and straighten thicker hair, we’d recommend selecting the higher heat and airflow settings to help reduce drying time. You may also want to try moving the machine through your hair slightly more slowly for each pass, ensuring it has time to fully dry and straighten each tress. You can combine it with your favourite styling products to help reduce any frizz.
