Formal Complaint – Request for Product Review
Dear Dyson Team,
I am reaching out as a loyal customer who owns multiple Dyson products. However, I am extremely disappointed with the response I have received regarding an issue with my hair dryer.
Recently, my hair dryer stopped functioning properly, and after contacting your customer support several times, I was informed that since the product is out of warranty, there is no solution available other than purchasing a new one. I find it unacceptable that such a high-cost product has a limited lifespan without this information being clearly disclosed at the time of purchase.
I believe this situation constitutes false advertising, as Dyson promotes itself as a premium brand with durable products, yet there is no indication that its devices will stop working after a certain period with no possibility of replacement. As a consumer, I expect a product of this price range to last accordingly and not turn into a recurring expense due to malfunctions unrelated to misuse.
I formally request a review of my case and a fair resolution, through replacement, for a product that should still be functioning properly. Additionally, if no satisfactory resolution is provided, I will be filing an official complaint with the appropriate U.S. consumer protection agency that regulates trade and ensures fair business practices.
I appreciate a prompt response and a resolution that reflects Dyson’s commitment to its customers and the quality it claims to uphold.
