All Dyson upright vacuums in our current range include brush control, so could be a good choice for your needs.
I’d avoid those with rotational/spinning brushbar. They’ll likely get tangled in the thick carpet or stop working altogether. Their Cylinder range come with a duel cleaner heads, which doesn’t usually have a brushbar. Here’s a good example of one in the UK. Dyson Big Ball Multi Floor 2 Vacuum Cleaner | CS Suppliers.
