My Dyson V12 Absolute Detect Slim is 7months old, and issues with the filter started about a month ago. After each use, I get a message informing me to wash the filter. Even it has been barely used. I bought a new filter, but I still got the same message. I’ve tried cleaning the entire vacuum as much as possible (all parts), yet the issue persists. It seems as if really small dust particles gather around the filter quite often, and block the filtering. At this point the vacuum is almost unusable as I cannot use it to clean the entire apartment, without washing the filter during a cleaning session which again takes days to dry.
