I just got a Dect5. The wall mount system comprises 2 parts: (a) 1 wall plate; and (b) the mount itself that clicks into the wall plate.
The two pieces came with the wall plate already clicked into the mount. There is no discernible way to separate the two, so I can affix the plate to the wall, without risking breaking one of the two parts.
The plastic is hard (and appears to be brittle), so force seems a really bad option.
