Folks..I really need your help

I purchased a Dyson V12 over a year ago, but recently it has started malfunctioning, shutting off automatically each time I try to start it. I contacted Dyson, and they informed me that the issue is with the main body. They instructed me to ship it back in order to receive a new replacement.

I waited over two weeks without a vacuum, and today it finally arrived—covered in dust and clearly heavily used. But that’s not even the worst part. When I tried to check the serial number for warranty information, the website said it couldn’t be found. Seriously, Dyson? Is this how you treat your customers, by sending out random returned products without proper verification?

When I contacted them again, they told me to go through the same process and ship it back. But who knows what will happen this time? Will they claim it’s not an authentic product and refuse to send a replacement? What would you suggest I do?
