I’ve just bought a Dyson V10. Parts of the plastic have an appearance that I can only describe as swirls within it. They’re not cracks or dents, just not a clear colour. Is this the usual appearance or have I got a dud!?

I’m happy to reassure you that the cosmetic swirls you’ve noticed aren't defects but flowlines visible due to the metallic compound we use, left over from the injection moulding process. It’s nothing to be concerned about, and will be the same for all Dyson vacuums.
