Ordered the G1 wet floor cleaner back in October, worked well for a couple of weeks then stopped sucking up the wet water. Returned the G1 and received another.. again worked well for a few weeks and the problem started again. Water tank was leaking it wouldn’t pick up the wet water from the floor which left it really wet. I contacted Dyson who said they would repair the machine although it was a 4 week wait for them to pick it up and they would have a look at it then repair it. My Dad is having Chemotherapy so having to keep surfaces-floors etc clean is paramount. I couldn’t wait that long without a floor cleaner so decided against a repair as i needed to buy a new floor cleaner asap. I decided to returned the G1 under the 90 day money back guarantee which was an absolute nightmare trying to deal with Dyson to accept this as they was adamant i could only have a repair. I spoke with Consumer Direct who obviously told me what Dyson was offering wasn’t acceptable. I stated my rights and returned the machine. Dyson received the G1 back on the 6/1/25 and confirmed they had received it yet I’m still waiting for a refund. I’ve contacted Dyson on numerous occasions who tell me i will receive the refund in 24-28 hours. Still waiting for my money back. Absolutely shocking. I’ve had numerous products from Dyson and never had any problems. Customer service now is absolutely shocking. A reputable company like Dyson should be able to offer customer service at the highest standard.
