Self Clean Wash G1

When the self clean is working, the first half of the cleaning process dispenses water from the clean canister to the dirty canister.  During the second half of the cleaning process, no water is being used from the clean canister, just the roller brushes are spinning.

Is this normal?

Welcome to the Dyson community!

Thank you for getting in touch. This is normal for the Dyson Wash G1's self-clean cycle. During the first half of the cleaning process, water from the clean canister is dispensed into the dirty canister to help remove any residue. In the second half, the roller brushes spin without using additional water to ensure a thorough clean.
