V11 outsize cleaner head rubber strip seal issue

Im having an issue with my outsize v11 on mainly carpet. It seems like there is leak coming from the long rubber strip. Cleaned head and rubber seal and there is no blockage. It is sucking up dirt in the canister but most of the dog hair quickly ends on the rubber part. I can't find any tutorial videos on YouTube to fix this. Any have a fix for this?

Hi @Ashleeb,

Welcome to the Dyson Community!

From your image, it looks like loose dog hair is clinging to the seal at the rear of the cleaner head due to harmless static charge generated during use. This is normal, and nothing to be concerned about - you may notice static cling more often when indoor humidity is low, and on certain carpets with higher synthetic content.

This doesn’t indicate a fault with the seal, or with the motorised cleaner head. You can help keep the seal clean whenever needed by wiping it with with a lightly dampened cloth, or even vacuuming the hair off the seal using the Combination tool.

Hope this helps!

Hi jack! Yes I've cleaned the head and rubber part. Within 2 minutes of sweeping again, it's cluttered with hair again and back to the picture above. So to keep turning off sweeper and brushing hair off the rubber to get sucked up in the head, it's very time consuming and takes much longer to clean a room.

Are there any other suggestions fix this?
