Broken wheel - how can i fix? Disappointed with Dyson Gen5 Quality

I recently bought a Dyson Gen5, and after just a few uses, one of the brush wheels broke off—the screw snapped completely. Unfortunately, the warranty only covers the motor, charger, and battery, so this part isn’t included. I can still use it, but it’s far from ideal.

My previous Dyson V8 lasted for years, so I had no hesitation in buying another Dyson. But based on this experience, it feels like their quality has declined, and they’re just another overpriced brand with cheap manufacturing. Really disappointing for a premium product.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues? Any suggestions for fixes or alternative parts?

Welcome to the Dyson Community, and thanks for letting us know about this.

Apologies for any confusion, but the motorised cleaner head should also be covered under your Dyson warranty, in an instance where a component has failed due to a manufacturing issue.
