Dyson V11 Absolute Battery Spring

Dear community,

my name is Klaus and I am a happy user of the Dyson V11 Absolute.

There is a small compression spring in the battery for the locking mechanism. This one was damaged for some reason and the battery does not lock anymore into the device.

Since I do not want to replace the battery for almost 100 EUR I am looking for replacement of that little compression spring. Can somebody tell me where I can get a replacement part or alternatively the specs (wire diamater, spring diamter, spring length)? Unfortunately the orginal spring got lost, so I cannot measure it myself :(.

@user0815 Hi there, thank you for the post, Klaus. I don’t have specs on a spring, with my apologies, I do have a note in the specs for that battery that it uses a couple specific screws with this spec: m2.5x15.0-PZ
