V7 Cordless brush bar - part number query

Hello,

I have a Dyson V7 cordless and want to replace the brush bar for my direct drive cleaner, however I am encountering what seems to be the common issue of the 3-prong vs 4-prong.

The motor that I have is a 3-prong one, and I can’t seem to find a replacement brush bar for it. I spoke with support however they only told me to buy a new Direct drive cleaner head, which is currently out of stock.

@wraith-of-vern Thanks for the post, You should be able to go to the Dyson support page. There, enter your Dyson’s serial number and it should bring up a page with the parts specific to your machine.

I am having the same issue. 
I enter my serial number and guess what???? It’s not recognised. 
Purchased V7 in 2021 and need a brush bar and wheels for the head. 
waiting for a support response. 
I can’t afford a new brush head. Will propose need a new battery soon too. 
Come on Dyson, help us out. I didn’t think

that throw away consumer goods were your “thing”. 
 

why can I not even search the serial number???? Starts with G3B???
