My vacuum comes with the Pneumatic musclehead floor tool which is impossible to push amongst the wood, ceramic tiles and even rugs.
I have a dyson animal vacuum upstairs and it comes with a hard floor tool which is perfect. I try to connect this attachment to the big ball2 but the attachment/nozzle is not the right size.
Does Dyson make such an attachment for the bigball2 or any tips?
Sorry for any confusion here - just to be clear, the following Quick release adaptor would allow you to use your existing Articulating hard floor tool with your Dyson Big Ball 2 cylinder vacuum: https://www.dyson.co.uk/support/journey/spare-details.967370-01
It looks like it’s currently in stock, so you should be able to order without any issues.

@paddlepop Thanks for the post - that tool “articulating hard floor tool” is compatible with Ball Animal 2 - the only thing you may need is a QR adapter piece. That likely would have come in the box with your Dyson vacuum, check around for this part - link for reference and image:
Hi Adam, my unit is not an Animal 2, so I don’t think part is compatible.
My current hard floor tool on the Animal DC39 (pipe diameter 32mm) is not compatible with the Big Ball2 (pipe diameter 50mm) due to the size difference of the connector.
- the UK site for the same attachment Part no. 920019-01 you recommended states that it is compatible with the DC39 (which is what I have today) and NOT the big ball multifloor 2.
Do you have this hard floor tool attachment for the big ball multi floor 2 (50mm diameter)?
