Dyson Big Ball 2 - hard floor tool attachment possible?

@paddlepop Thanks for the post - that tool “articulating hard floor tool” is compatible with Ball Animal 2 - the only thing you may need is a QR adapter piece. That likely would have come in the box with your Dyson vacuum, check around for this part - link for reference and image:

Thanks for the reply Adam. the issue is that I’ve tried that and the fitment is not the same size.

Can I order a hard floor tool for the big ball 2? or some kind of converter pipe/attachment?

Hi Adam, my unit is not an Animal 2, so I don’t think part is compatible.

My current hard floor tool on the Animal DC39 (pipe diameter 32mm) is not compatible with the Big Ball2 (pipe diameter 50mm) due to the size difference of the connector.

 - the UK site for the same attachment Part no. 920019-01 you recommended states that it is compatible with the DC39 (which is what I have today) and NOT the big ball multifloor 2. 

Do you have this hard floor tool attachment for the big ball multi floor 2 (50mm diameter)?
