I am looking for instructions on how to deep clean the pneumatic cleaning head on my Dyson Big Ball Animal 3 Cylinder Vacuum cleaner.

Can it be soaked to help remove crusted on deposits?

Hi @Craighealdpoint,

Welcome to the Dyson Community!

Please do not wash or submerge your Dyson Pneumatic Musclehead™ floor tool. This could cause damage to the floor tool and the machine itself, which wouldn’t be covered under your Dyson guarantee.

If you feel the floor tool could use a clean, please give it a thorough wipe over with a soft damp cloth. Always ensure all parts are completely dry before reattaching it and using your machine.

Hope this helps!

It's just that there was a really heavy build up of crusted on dirt that was stopping the parts moving freely.

I have scraped off what I can reach and it is now moving, but it is probably still crusted inside.
