PSA Dyson has the worst customer service - Buyer Beware


I bought a vacuum cleaner from Dyson directly the week before Thanksgiving and have yet to receive the item and Dyson's customer service has refused to refund me or ship me the item. Given how horrible this experience has been, people really should know that Dyson will not help when they mes up.

Dyson never sent me an email saying the item was out for delivery... just that the next step was that I would. Two weeks pass and I contact customer service who informed me that it was delivered... despite no notification that it was out for delivery. At this point Dyson asked if I had contacted the delivery company (GLS... a company I have never heard of). How could I contact a company about an issue that I had no idea they were involved in? I contacted GLS who told me Dyson never gave them my phone number or email which is why I was not contacted. Further they showed me that it was not delivered to my apartment or to the secured package room but left in the open in the mail room (which is open to the public). I went to check if the package was still there but it unfortunately was not.

I thought given Dyson was a premium brand and the delivery was messed up from their end (how am I supposed to know when something ships when I am never told that it did?). After Dyson telling me to wait an endless amount of days... it is very clear I have paid for a vacuum cleaner that I will never recieve.

Enjoy the donation Dyson because I will never buy a Dyson product again and everyone I know will know Dyson is willing to steal from customers.

Thank you for the response. Unfortunately, Dyson continues to ignore the facts of the delivery and has provided zero additional help.

I have essentially donated $300 to Dyson and recommend no one orders from Dyson as the company is amazingly incapable of simply delivering a product.

 

Again, Dyson customer care has essentially been a waste of time.

Update

Dyson refuses to provide me the product I paid for claiming that the shipping company delivered the product. However, Dyson will, or cannot, provide proof that the product was delivered. Telling me to contact the shipping company. I have contacted the shipping company and they refuse to discuss the delivery with me.

Dyson’s customer support is a waste of time. The shipping company did not deliver the item to me or even notify me that item was out for delivery. They left the item in the open in an unsecured area not where it was supposed to be delivered and never notified me it was being delivered. Dyson refuses to provide any proof it was delivered but is happy to continue claiming it was.

Everyone should save themselves their money and avoid purchasing products from Dyson… they will do absolutely nothing to help you.

Well to me it doesn’t look like it’s Dyson’s fault but delivery company’s.

had similar situation in Uk, waited ages for delivery, but sadly Dyson posted my order same day and couldn’t be responsible for delivery company as obviously they don’t own it.

i would say you need to track it and sort with delivery company.
