I bought a vacuum cleaner from Dyson directly the week before Thanksgiving and have yet to receive the item and Dyson's customer service has refused to refund me or ship me the item. Given how horrible this experience has been, people really should know that Dyson will not help when they mes up.
Dyson never sent me an email saying the item was out for delivery... just that the next step was that I would. Two weeks pass and I contact customer service who informed me that it was delivered... despite no notification that it was out for delivery. At this point Dyson asked if I had contacted the delivery company (GLS... a company I have never heard of). How could I contact a company about an issue that I had no idea they were involved in? I contacted GLS who told me Dyson never gave them my phone number or email which is why I was not contacted. Further they showed me that it was not delivered to my apartment or to the secured package room but left in the open in the mail room (which is open to the public). I went to check if the package was still there but it unfortunately was not.
I thought given Dyson was a premium brand and the delivery was messed up from their end (how am I supposed to know when something ships when I am never told that it did?). After Dyson telling me to wait an endless amount of days... it is very clear I have paid for a vacuum cleaner that I will never recieve.
Enjoy the donation Dyson because I will never buy a Dyson product again and everyone I know will know Dyson is willing to steal from customers.
