GEN5 DETECT ABSOLUTE LCD NOT WORKING - BLANK SCREEN


GEN5 DETECT ABSOLUTE Vaccum cleaned LCD SCREEN IS BLANK. It was working and visible earlier but went blank today. I have bought this unit 2 days ago. What could I do to get my LCD screen working again ?

Other than removing the battery and putting it on charge separately, there isn’t anything I can think of. It is still doesn’t work, then calling Dyson will be the only solution. Most probably faulty from new. Can you take it back to where you brought it and ask for an exchange?

Refer to their online diagnostic tool. I suspect there a short or connection fault. Link : The machine has power but no display | Dyson Support. David.
