Once you’ve registered and started to interact with other posts, such as leaving a comment/reply, as well as creating your own topics, you’ll start to receive email-notification when someone else replies.
If you wanted to stop received these notifications, there are a few simple steps you can follow.
General settings for notifications
You’ll receive notifications of topics or categories which you have selected as Favourites. Topics you have started are set as Favourites by default, but you can change this in the settings on your Profile page. To customise your profile settings, simply follow these steps.
- Select your profile card. This is the one shown next to the ‘+ Create your topic’ button.

Note: This will not unsubscribe you when you have subscribed to an entire category. Should you receive notifications for new topics in a specific category, then you will have to visit this category and click on "unsubscribe" in the top right corner in the category overview.
You can also do this for an individual topic by clicking the ‘Subscribe button’ at the bottom of the post. It stays grey to indicate that you're not subscribed to that topic.
