This weekend I used the hair screw tool on my V12 and was aware that it had started making a noisy grating sound, seems to be coming from the purple screw tool when spinning. I took it apart to check there was no debris there causing an issue but it was clear and there were no obvious signs as to why it was making a noise.
Any Ideas how to stop the noise?

As there is no clear fault, debris caught or broken part from your visual inspection, it could be the result of a breakage or fault within the internal mechanics. In this instance you’ll need to contact Dyson, making either a warranty claim or out of warranty purchase.
