I have two cordless vacuum cleaners. A V8 Total and a V7 Fluffy. Most accessories appear to be interchangeable.
However the main rotating carpet accessory for the V8 does not rotate when fitted to the V7.
Does the V7 require a different rotating carpet accessory? If so what is the model number and price?

@JLD246 Thanks for your post. Correct, all of the tools except for the motorized head will be cross-compatible across the V7/V8 lines. To find parts specific to your V7, go to your local Dyson support page - there, you will find a field to allow you to enter your Dyson’s serial number and find parts specifically fitted for your model.

Do you know if the V8 detangling motorbar head is compatible with the V7? I also can’t seem to find it on the dyson website and a lot of things are out of stock.
