i recently purchased my hot+cool Dyson after using for a month I could see the thin silver layer everywhere in the living room. Anyone experienced the same? I am seeing this thin layer only after I started using Dyson any help is much appreciated.

I have the opposite. I used to get more dust but since using the fan the dust has stopped.
In your case the fan may be disturbing dust that was on the ground that you didn’t see before. Just keep wiping it away and eventually it should stop.
