Clicking noise during oscillating

When the purifier/fan is oscillating it makes a clicking sound. It's more noticeable at lower fan speeds since the machine is quieter then. I removed everything and didn't see anything inside that was obstructing the movements, so not sure what may be the issue. It did not make this noise when I first got it late last year.

Hi @bsac66

My friend had a similar problem late last year. The clicking stopped when the fan wasn’t oscillating.

They had to contact the CS and have an engineer repair their purifier. The report that came back mentioned an issue with a control board in the machine. Might be the same in your case.

If it helps there are CS contacts on this post.

Pete.

My mum also had this problem.

She didn’t have it on a flat surface and with it leaning to one side it must have been catching something as it span. Relocating it worked great and the noise went straight away.

The call operator actually advised us to do this.
