Airstraight gives my hair static electricity

I love the Dyson Airstraight but it gives my hair static. I can spray my hair with hairspray but after a couple of hours the static is back. Help.

Thanks for your post. Static charge can be impacted by a variety of atmospheric factors including clothing and humidity, as well as any additional hair styling products you may be using. This would be exactly the same with any hair drying or styling device.

However we do recommend cleaning the plates as shown in the video below. You can also use a soft, lint-free cloth to remove any remaining residue.
