When mounted upright (accessory holder on top) the docking station will not secure the vacuum, I had to invert the holder (accessory holder down) for the vacuum to secure vacuum. I suspect the spring-loaded portion of docking station isn't strong enough to push the vacuum up into clip. Please advise.

If you did, and the dock still isn’t working correctly, I’d contact Dyson. Maybe a broken part that needs replacing. They should replace it for you!

Yes. I very much agree. It reads like the dock might have been installed upside down. I hope the video addresses this.
