Is the % humidity shown on the ph04 app calculated in the same manner as the ideal recommended range of 40-60 as it is consistently showing high in 75 to 90 range although we have used a dehumidifier

Hi @gbos,

The RH (relative humidity) value is the amount of water vapour in the air, as a percentage of the maximum possible humidity at the current temperature.

Your machine’s onboard humidity sensor measures the surrounding humidity levels and displays this on the LCD screen. Indoor humidity between 75-90% would certainly be a valid reading, although of course this will vary between different home environments and seasons.

The most comfortable humidity level varies depending on the temperature. In Auto mode, your machine constantly monitors air quality, automatically adjusting airflow and humidification to reach and maintain the most comfortable humidity level.

Hope this helps, but let us know if you have any further questions the Dyson Community can help with!
