Dyson Filter Code

I have an error code showing my carbon fiber orange filter needs to be replace. I have replaced the filter, and tried to reset it pursuit to the manual by holding the nighttime button for 5 seconds.  The filter will not reset. I have also tried to recycle the machine by holding the remote power and machine power buttons for 10 seconds.  Nothing works.  Any suggestions?

Can you confirm if this is the icon your machine is displaying?

 

If so, this is showing that your Evaporator needs maintenance. It’s engineered and tested to last the lifetime of your machine in normal use, and does not need replacement - just the regular maintenance outlined in your User guide, and within the MyDyson™ app.

To run the Self-clean cycle, please follow the steps shown in our video guide:

Hi Greg, I have the same issue with the filter and I will return back to Dyson to be fixed.

I’ve tried all the reset options, but no any improvements.

What machine have you got?  What orange filter do you mean?

Dyson Purifier Humidify+Cool Formaldehyde™ PH04 (White/Gold).  The orange carbon filter that goes inside the outer filters.
