Hi,

I recently bought a Dyson Purifier Hot + Cool Formaldehyde and it is not displaying ultrafine particles 0.1 in the app sensors. Am I missing something? Thanks.

Hi @vispine

Welcome to the Community.

As this might not be a subject that other Community members can weigh in on, I thought I would reply.

The PM2.5 results shown in the App encompasses particles as small as 0.1 in the reading. The Graphical information on-screen records all particles detected and translates this onto the interactive graph.

As there are a lot of particles encompassed below this reading, it wouldn’t be possible to show them all in the App interface. This is why you don’t see the reading.

If you wanted to read more on how the graphical interface worked, please visit our ‘Explanation of the pollutant levels and colours on the graph’ and ‘Viewing your machine's air quality graphs’ articles.

Thanks,

Stuart

Thank you Stuart.

Would not make more sense for the app then to show PM0.1 instead of PM2.5?
