I just purchased V11 cordless vacuum. I am a longtime fan and user of Dyson upright vacuums, but this is my first cordless. I am wondering if anyone else is getting painfull blisters at the inner base of their thumb using the V11?

Hi @bpallanez,

We wouldn't expect a blister to occur as a result of using your vacuum. The handgrip design is not dissimilar to other types of machine that users need to grip and push or pull. It’s been engineered to be comfortable for users with hands of different size, shape, strength and dexterity.

If you're finding this to be your experience, we'd recommend holding the machine lower down on the handgrip to help minimise rubbing or pressure on the top of your hand.

We're also happy to make sure your feedback is passed along to the right teams.

If you continue to have issues, we’d recommend speaking directly to your regional Dyson Customer Care team so they can take some further information and help check all is correct with your particular machine. You can reach them by visiting Dyson.com and clicking Support.
