In July 2024, I bought a Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool™ HP7A Autoreact (White/Nickel). It worked for only a few weeks, and Dyson still haven’t replaced it.
Between August 12th and August 22nd, Dyson arranged for DPD to collect my purifier and replace it with a working unit FIVE times. Every time, DPD failed to arrive. They claimed the problem was the address I provided, even though this was identical to the address I gave when they originally delivered the purifier.
Every time, I complained to Dyson that the collection and delivery was not completed, and every time, Dyson scheduled a new collection and delivery - until my sixth attempt, on August 27th, when they told me they had shipped a replacement unit only for DPD never to contact me about the delivery and collection.
Over the course of August, I spent hours on the phone with Dyson, calling seven times and also asking for help over chat. I still have a purifier hot+cool device that is useless, that doesn’t work, and that I wasn’t able to use during the sweltering summer and the freezing winter months, just taking up space in my home. I’m still due a replacement.
I am a long time Dyson customer, and have several of their products. I have gifted them and recommended them in the past, but this terrible customer service has really, really put me off buying anything else from Dyson ever again.
