Worst refund process and customer service team?

Bought first dyson machine in recent years for elderly parents, hot and cool air purifier. Was too loud for them so started a return process within advertised cooling period. It's been 2 months, haven't received refund.  Dyson are now refusing to acknowledge they've even received the parcel. Considering I followed their return instructions, this is beyond ridiculous. 

Have wasted hours with their customer service team as well as their "escalation" team. 

Ironically spoke to one person who emailed to say item had reached the warehouse and simply hadn't been scanned yet. So not sure how other employees are contradicting this. He was also aware of how dodgy Dyson's returns are. 

Customer service agents always try to read of the regular lines of "wait for 14 business days" without even hearing that you've been waiting for a lot longer.

 

The whole experience has been immensely disappointing. Buyer beware indeed.
