I have purchased 3 Dyson products in my life. A vacuum, the air wrap styler, and a fan. All three have broken down in less than 4 years. Most recently, I have tried to get support for my TP01 fan which is giving me an error message. I spent 60+ minutes online chatting with a customer support agent (Moderation edit - personal details removed) who didn’t understand my questions, took super long to respond between messages, and responded in English that didn’t always make sense. It’s frustrating enough to have yet another Dyson product stop working, but then to deal with unhelpful customer support just adds to it. Is there a direct phone number for support agents who are based in the US?

I concur with the need for better communication.  I also just spent almost an hour trying to explain my problem - an error code of F3 on a TP01 Air Purifier.  The support person couldn’t understand that it was “F3” and not F with 3 horizontal lines next to it.  It was extremely frustrating. 

 

I love my Dyson products BUT support is lacking and it seems Dyson has very little in terms of replacement parts.  The call here was more difficult when the rep told me I should only use Dyson filters - which are and have been unavailable for weeks.
