Our first generation of connected products will only connect to a 2.4GHz network. Most routers are dual band and have a 2.4GHz and 5GHz network, so if your product is struggling to connect, you may need to disable the 5GHz network just while you complete the connection. Once connected, the 5GHz can be re-enabled.

Most common routers still support both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz frequencies so is still classed as a normal standard.

All our second generation air  treatment machines will connect to a 2.4GHz network and a 5GHz network.

You can read more about the network configuration on our ‘WiFi Configuration - Air treatment machines’ article.
