Broken airwrap and terrible customer service - over two years later! | Dyson Community

My Dyson air wrap was a birthday gift for myself, I received it two years ago meaning it is now out of warranty period. I have tried a handful of times approximately 50!!!!! To have this machine fixed.. Before the warranty period ended Dyson accepted my request and had it picked up and sent back to me with nothing but the air filter changed which was not the issue!!!

(Bit of background, It is a clear mechanical issue. The machine does not run for more than 10 seconds at a time before cutting off for what seems like forever and has made using impossible as there is just no way I can sit there and wait for the Dyson to turn back on which could be one minute up to 30 minutes! When the Dyson is Working it makes electrical buzzing noises as if it’s going to explode!!!) 

This is not my issue as if this had been resolved As it should’ve been, I would have been more than grateful. My issue is it has taken over two years and I am still in the same position as I was when I received this for my birthday, I think I’ve honestly done three full heads of hair styling with this machine. 

I have WhatsApp messaged Dyson when that used to be a thing however that is currently unavailable, Spent countless hours on the phone arguing my case to the customer service team, Using the chatbot And finally getting through to a human again spending countless hours arguing my case for them to finally accept their responsibility and offer me a collection date (They cancelled the pick up the day off so my Dyson was never repaired), and even travelling half an hour with my Dyson air app to the nearest store to speak to a manager who took my details (phone number, email name and serial code) and told me that I would be contacted within the week… again never happened. And to name and shame this was the dyson store in Manchester Trafford Centre. 

I have almost lost hope in trying to resolve this issue and as it’s taken so long. But then again why should I because the dyson airwrap is not cheap!

hopefully something good can come out of this because I am sick to death of searching for other ways of hopefully resolving this. Terrible terrible customer service in all areas dyson!
