I am utterly shocked and disappointed at the appalling customer service and quality of Dyson products. I bought my first Dyson product, my airwrap, on my birthday. It was a huge purchase for me. After months of use, it broke with no real explanation. I cared for it as instructed but in the end, put it down to it being potentially a one-off faulty machine. Dyson replaced it after informing me it could not be repaired. In a matter of months, the new machine then broke with exactly the same issues. After having parted with £500, I was shocked that these machines clearly aren’t fit for purpose. I have lost my patience with the airwrap and have requested a refund, not another machine as Dyson have been trying to say is my only option. I don’t want a THIRD machine, I want my hard earned money back. I just had my third phone call on this issue with the Dyson customer service staff. The first lady didn’t seem to understand my query. The second man promised me a refund and a call back - of which I never received! - and the third man was utterly rude and made me feel very upset, suggesting that I hadn’t given the correct information which was why I had been promised a refund!!! Is this the customer service a well-known brand like Dyson provides? This is supposed to be a high end, luxury machine sold by a company with a supposedly good reputation. I am exasperated and deeply upset by this ongoing saga. I strongly urge anyone considering to spend their money on an airwrap not to bother. And Dyson, I really hope to hear from you.
