I recentlly bought a dyson airwrap, it is a brand new - and expensive - product, but for a few days now it has been unable to stay on, it keeps turning off all the time and a red light keeps turning on.

I already cleaned the filter, I cleaned it inside out, and it wasn't even dirty because it is a new product, but I still can't use it cause it doesn't stay on.

Furthermore, it doesn't even stay on long enough to overheat, I've tried using it on the cold setting too and the same thing happens.

I’ve reached plenty email adresses, and even than I’m still not able to reach out to anyone, not even on the chat provided by the official website. I need to talk to someone ASAP, it isn’t a cheap produt, i need anwsers!!!

Hi @amandab,

Thank you for the additional information you’ve provided via private message, which clarifies the situation.

Dyson hair care machines are optimized to work with the voltage of the country in which they are sold. We advise against purchasing a Dyson machine in one country for use in another. We do not offer a global warranty — we cannot guarantee that your machine will perform as expected, and this can also make support very difficult in the event of a breakdown.

A Dyson hairdryer sold outside Brazil will not have Brazilian INMETRO certification for use in Brazil; therefore, it is very important to purchase a Dyson only through an authorized dealer in Brazil.

It will not be possible to use your machine purchased from Japan in Brazil. There is no technical support for products purchased outside Brazil, and we do not have access to parts for machines that are not certified to work in Brazil.

I'm sorry, but there is nothing further we can do to support you in this instance. We apologize for any disappointment or inconvenience.

The manager of the community has reached out to me through private message. He asked me to send him my informations, I sent him what he asked for and now I’m waiting for an answer. I advice you to go to a Dyson’s physical store or to try to reach out to someone using the chat on the website, or even publish a proclaim here in this website.
