voltage issue | Dyson Community

This looks like an issue A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE FACING, and clearly one that dyson cannot even help to fix.

For someone living abroad and moving to a new region, it seems the hair products do not work.

What is one supposed to do? Just buy a new one???? The price of airstrait in turkey is around 700 usd more or less...that's a lot of money, a lot for something that cannot br fixed.

Dyson customer service here in turkey said they can give me a 25% discount on my next purchase in return of the product that I have in hand. Is this a JOKE????? 75% discount is more reasonable.  But 25? We have hard earned money, and throwing it away like this is very very disappointing.

I will NEVER buy another dyson product and will strongly advise everyone around me.

Unless dyson can give me a proper solution....

Hi @Irem23,

Welcome to the Dyson Community!

We strongly advise against ordering a Dyson machine in one country for use in another. We do not offer an international guarantee, the machine may not work properly where the voltage differs to the country of purchase, and it can make it extremely difficult for us to provide support in the event of a breakdown.

You can find more information about this here:

This isn’t a situation we’ll be able to resolve for you via the Dyson Community forum.

We’d recommend continuing your conversation with the Dyson Turkey Customer Care team if you’re unhappy with the resolution they’ve offered.

I’m sorry if this wasn’t the answer you were hoping for, but we will be happy to pass your feedback along to the right people for you.
