Dyson fails to stand up to its name | Dyson Community

Bought a Gen5detect and less than a week owning it the cleaning head wheel come off (not a case of screwing it in as it’s now threaded) and I rang Dyson to replace the part. After a while of going round in circles I was told it will take two weeks plus to replace as it is out of stock.

After paying £850 for a product that falls apart within less than a week is shocking enough. To then be told you be got minimum of two weeks to replace is worse.

I then asked for compensation, considering how much Dyson standby their company, I was laughed at and said nothing they can do.

I’m now sat with a vacuum that doesn’t work and is now worthless. I expected more from Dyson, let alone the price I paid for a supposedly superior product.
