I can’t believe that I have to go into the the Dyson Community to try and get some sort of action out of Dyson. I had registered my vacuum and it stopped working. After emailing with customer service, I was told to send it back - all of it including accessories. They sent me the label for return. They received my vacuum on November 19 to their Texas office or service center per the tracking. Since then, I have had three phone calls with customer service.
First person said they couldn’t find my returned vacuum at the warehouse, despite tracking showing they had received it. Got a case number and told me to wait 5 to 7 days and for sure, it would be taken care of.
Second person gave me another case number and said, oh, even though they might have misplaced it, to give then another week and they would send me an update.
After two weeks, I called them back. Another case number and person. This time, by two days they would be sending out my replacement and emailing me with the details. NOTHING.
What can I do? I feel like maybe I should call the Sheriff’s office in El Paso and have them look into this. It is theft isn’t it? Mail Fraud? Do I get a lawyer involved or call the Better Business Bureau. Maybe all of the above.
Is there another way to get around the call center that makes promises to get you off the phone and then does nothing?
