Have contacted support via chat twice, first time I was told I’d get notified when a replacement part was in stock, never happened. Second time they actually had the part in stock, cool, they shipped it out. Problem is the part is the wrong part. Does not fit my vacuum sadly.
I proceed to try chat support again, they start taking me through the troubleshooting steps of cleaning the filter when clearly I need a new part from a previous support conversation. I was so frustrated at the lack of understanding and probably English barrier I ended the chat.
I then tried to call twice, BOTH times I could not hear the person in the call center. The background noise was 10x louder than their voice, I am sure they do this on purpose to just avoid talking to customers.
I bought this vacuum in December on sale, it broke on me in February after maybe 3-4 uses.
The situation is so ridiculous I don’t know what to even do anymore. Do I contact my credit card company and try to dispute the purchase? I have a broken vacuum and Dyson is FAILING to help me remedy it under warranty!
Needless to say this is likely the last time I ever go with Dyson, and I will be sure to spread the word about my experience so others don’t have to face this insanity. These aren’t cheap vacuums!
