I can see that others have this V11
experience where by some larger dust (hair etc) is dragged past the grey filter.
Is this to be expected, even though the dustbox is not full?
Is there a solution?

It is absolutely normal for hair to gather all around the bin. Nothing to worry about.
Try to empty the bin before MAX line with main dirt in the bin, otherwise filter will get dirty much quicker. If you get any lose hair stuck on the top, you can remove the bin by pressing red button after opening and slide the bin off.
